A Year in the Brain

This talk will address some of the latest research from the world of neuroscience. What are the long-term health consequences of sleep deprivation and vaping? How does menopause affect the brain? How might ketamine and anti-inflammatories change the landscape of treatments for depression? Why might we need to rethink the period of adolescence? What does modern neuroscience say about the relationship between cannabis and mental health in young people? How is the cerebellum linked to language?  These and other questions will be addressed.
