Outside of project planning, Emily’s focus is on ensuring clients get the most value from Switch—whether that’s keeping them up to date with the latest product developments, providing proactive support for ongoing projects, or offering tailored guidance that aligns with each organisation’s unique goals. She’s known for turning challenges into action plans and making tech feel a little less terrifying for even the most traditional event teams.

Emily takes event safety very seriously—it has always been a personal and professional priority for her to ensure event teams deliver experiences with safety at the heart of everything they do. In 2023, she joined the Martyn’s Law (formerly Protect Duty) working group, and has since played an active role in sharing knowledge and best practice with clients and industry peers around this vital legislation.

Before joining Switch, Emily led as Head of Events at Conference Care, where she oversaw the delivery of all live events, managed multi-functional teams, drove service innovation, and helped launch one of the market’s leading virtual event offerings during the pandemic.

With additional experience at the Meetings Industry Association and a background that spans every corner of the events world, Emily brings a uniquely hands-on, human approach—backed by serious expertise and a good sense of humour.

When she’s not supporting clients or navigating Martyn’s Law with a calm head and a colour-coded checklist, Emily can usually be found baking, enjoying time with her children, Edison and Elodie, or happily lost in a well-structured spreadsheet- especially for Disney holiday planning! Her love for planning extends far beyond work—it’s a way of life.
