Consultant Radiographer 

Liana Hough serves as a consultant Radiographer at the Cambridge Breast Unit, where she brings over a decade of invaluable experience. Originally from South Africa, Liana made the transition to Cambridge more than 10 years ago and has since become an integral part of the unit's team.

Having earned her master’s degree from St. George's University in London, Liana's commitment to advancing her expertise led her to embark on a new journey in consultancy over the past two years. With a particular focus on interval cancers, she has dedicated time to researching and better understanding this critical area within the unit.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Liana plays a pivotal role in education within the unit. She actively contributes to the training of registrars and extends her knowledge to the broader radiographic community through engaging lectures tailored to assistant practitioners, advanced practitioners, and fellow radiographers.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Liana finds solace in nature and cherishes quality time spent with her family.
