Ben has worked in elite rugby at London Wasps, across Olympic sports in the lead up to London 2012 and spent six years as first team physiotherapist at Arsenal football club, before his most recent role as Performance Director in European football. He now runs his own Athletic Shoulder business based in London working with Major League Baseball, supporting an NFL shoulder injury taskforce and he also consults with teams and individuals based largely on his original published research, and through experience in athletic shoulder testing and training. Ben is currently working with patients at the ISEH and UNTIL in central London. He is furthering his research by undertaking a PhD at Liverpool Hope University, looking at the key determinants of throwing performance and the use of a system to optimise athlete health and performance in sports with high shoulder demands.
Ife Osinkolu is a general surgery registrar trainee in Wales and a leadership training fellow with Health education improvement Wales (HEIW) and the Centre for sustainable Healthcare (CSH). As part of his fellowship, he is involved in embedding sustainability into quality improvement and clinical practice, the decarbonisation planning of Cardiff and Vale University health board, and the integration of sustainability into medical education in Cardiff University.
Ife has a special interest in sustainability within operating theatres, particularly in the environmental impact of single use equipment in surgery.
Nashat Siddiqui is a Consultant Upper Limb Surgeon based at Kingston Hospital. He trained in the London region, with fellowships in Brisbane, Bristol, and Coventry.
He is the specialty tutor for Kingston Hospital, as well as lead for audit and research and upper limb trauma. He has a special interest in Equality and Diversity.
Jonathan Stevenson is an experienced specialist in orthopaedic oncology & arthroplasty at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham.
Jonathan specialises in orthopaedic oncology and complex arthroplasty with sub-specialty interests in pelvic resection and reconstruction, revision knee replacement and prosthetic joint infection (PJI). Jonathan is principal investigator on studies into the osseointegration of endoprosthetic replacements for limb-salvage, bacterial fluorescence in PJI and is clinical lead for sarcoma genomics, metastatic bone disease, knee revision and the research tissue bank. He is also clinical lead for metastatic bone disease for the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) and a trustee for the Bone Cancer Research Trust (BCRT) leading on awareness and early diagnosis in bone sarcoma.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Stevenson has presented research at an international level since 2010 and is a reviewer for multiple orthopaedic and oncology journals. He has published greater than 100 peer reviewed scientific articles with over 1000 citations, six book chapters and is the co-editor of an orthopaedic basic sciences textbook. Due to his experience, he regularly examines and lectures on FRCS (Tr & Orth) courses.
