William Thomas

William is a Consultant Shoulder & Elbow Surgeon in Exeter.  After undergraduate training in London, Orthopaedic training in Bristol and Fellowship training in Geelong Australia, he was appointed at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital in 2013.  He is currently the lead surgeon for Trauma and has been busy establishing Exeter as the South West’s regional hub for elbow replacement surgery, since 2021.  He is a Member of the Watanabe Club and enjoys training visiting Fellows as well as Exeter's own Shoulder & Elbow Fellows.  Devon is not all about work however and he enjoys running and kitesurfing whenever the family allow it!
