Deborah Higgs

Deborah Higgs has been a Consultant Shoulder & Elbow Surgeon at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, since 2010. She was appointed the NCIP (National Consultant Information Programme) Clinical Lead for Orthopaedics in 2022.She has a special interest in complex surgery of the Elbow & Shoulder with a tertiary referral practice that reflects this. She lectures and teaches on the Elbow & Shoulder and is actively involved in clinical research with numerous publications and has co-authored several book chapters. A previous member of the BESS Education Committee, she is the current BESS Instructional Course Sub-Committee Elbow Surgeon Member.
