Speaker Bio


Deborah Williams

Deborah is a specialist physiotherapist and Advanced Clinical Practitioner at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital treating shoulder and elbow conditions and brachial plexus injuries referred to tertiary care. She is currently leading a project implementing an enhanced recovery pathway for shoulder and elbow arthroplasty and regularly treats these patients undergoing primary or revision surgery. She has published 5 research papers, with a particular area of interest in atraumatic shoulder instability and its co-morbidities. Deborah has been an invited lecturer on UCL and Hertfordshire University MSc programmes and has supervised and co-authored on Physiotherapy MSc research projects. Deborah is passionate about driving research and innovation in the physiotherapy management of complex upper limb conditions.
