Advanced Practice Physiotherapist, University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL)I am an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist at University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL), specializing in Orthopedics. I am a member of the Arthroplasty Care Practitioners Association (ACPA) and play an integral role in the long-term follow-up care of arthroplasty patients at UHL. I have contributed to the multidisciplinary team (MDT) that established the day-case pathways for arthroplasty patients, focusing on hip, knee, and shoulder procedures, ensuring streamlined and efficient patient care.Outside of my professional life, I’m a mum to two active boys who are passionate about sports. I enjoy the great outdoors, anything from hiking to skiing, and I am also an avid competitor in Masters Athletics, particularly in discus throwing.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Murphy is married to Leonie, an anaesthetist, and they have two daughters. The family enjoys an active lifestyle in Sussex, participating in a variety of sports and dance activities, and often travels to the Swiss mountains to escape and recharge.
