Katy Clay

Katy Clay studied Physiotherapy at the University of Liverpool and subsequently obtained an MSc in Science of Sports injury from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Practice in Healthcare from the University of Liverpool in 2013.

She works within the Liverpool Upper Limb Unit in a dual role as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in Upper Limb and Trauma Management, treating patients with a wide variety of upper limb problems both within the Physiotherapy Department and Fracture Clinic.

She is an active researcher and honorary lecturer at the University of Liverpool and is passionate about empowering colleagues to work with their patients to get the best possible outcomes following upper limb trauma to the shoulder and elbow.
