Elaine Davis

Dr Elaine Davis was appointed as a Consultant Breast Radiologist in the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust in 2014, having graduated from the University of Galway in 2006. Since being selected for QA Lead position for the Northern Ireland Breast Screening Programme in 2020 she has maintained a keen interest in all areas of quality assurance standards in radiology and sits on both the Clinical Professional Group for Breast Screening and National Breast Check QA Committee for Ireland.  She is involved in clinically based research as part of her current role in Belfast City Hospital as Lead Radiologist for the SMALL trial and will be speaking about the various types of cases encountered.  In addition, she will be presenting a host of interesting cases from around the various breast units in Northern Ireland as part of the Local Cases session.
