Dr Moy is professor of radiology at New York University. She is the Editor-in-Chief of Radiology. Her research focuses on diagnostic oncologic imaging, with an emphasis on breast cancer. She is an NIH-funded investigator with applications on multiparametric breast MRI and artificial intelligence. She collaborates with the NYU Center for Data Science to investigate deep learning tools for multitask learning across modalities.
Title: Breast Imaging for Trainees
This session targets trainees and will allow ample time for a question-and-answer session. We will begin with why breast imaging is a wonderful and rewarding career. The rest of the session will focus on tips for writing a scientific paper. Writing a research paper is a daunting task. However, there is a logical set of steps that all authors should follow. The components of a paper – title, abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results, and discussion will b reviewed. Tips and pitfalls will be highlighted for each section of the research paper.
