Eva M Serrão

Eva M Serrão, PhD FRCR is a Radiology Consultant at the Cambridge University Hospitals, Addenbrookes Hospital and affiliated Assistant Professor at the University of Cambridge. She graduated from the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and subsequently obtained her Doctorate degree and Radiology training from the University of Cambridge (UK) followed by a fellowship in Abdominal imaging at the Joint Department of Medical Imaging at UHN (Toronto, Canada). Currently, she is a Diagnostic Radiologist with specialist interests in Oncology (including WB-MRI and biopsy procedures), Syndromic diseases and Urological imaging. 

She has always nurtured significant interest for abdominal imaging research, having done basic and clinical imaging research on hyperpolarised 13C and more recently research on novel abdominal MRI sequences and radiogenomics. She has published in several high impact peer-reviewed journals throughout her career, and received awards/prizes for her work.
