Ruchi Sinnatamby is a Consultant Radiologist in Cambridge, UK, specialising in Breast Imaging and medical education. She is an Affiliated Associate Professor and Clinical Sub-Dean, responsible for Quality at the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine, and Fellow in Clinical Medicine at Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge. She has been an examiner for Clinical Radiology FRCR 2B since 2010 and as Vice Chair of the exam board since 2021, she is responsible for examiner training, development and appraisal. She was awarded the inaugural RCR-BSBR Breast Imaging Professorship in 2017.

Ruchi has contributed extensively to the development of training curricula, pioneered breast radiology training in the UK, and inspired hundreds of trainees through her lectures, teaching fellowships, and travelling professorship. She is especially passionate about developing better communication skills for all those who undertake breast imaging practice. She has taught and run workshops on improving communication skills throughout the UK and Europe and is taking the message to RANZCR later this year. Ruchi has received multiple awards for education, including in 2025, the Exceptional Contribution Award from the RCR.
