Join us in Glasgow 22 April - 24 April 2026

WELCOME TO GLASGOW

On behalf of the National Cleft Surgical Service for Scotland, I am delighted to welcome you to the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Craniofacial Society of Great Britain and Ireland, taking place from 22nd to 24th April 2026.

Our theme this year is “Realistic Cleft Care: Optimising Outcomes & Minimising Burden of Care.”

Our keynote speakers come from a variety of areas and have been invited with a specific focus on this theme in mind.  We hope this will prompt meaningful reflection across the UK cleft care community regarding outcomes, service delivery, and most importantly, how we can maximise benefit while reducing the burden of care for those who use our services.  We also hope to focus on looking ahead to what is needed to ensure cleft services remain efficient, effective and realistic in the years to come.

Glasgow is a vibrant, welcoming city—recently crowned the UK’s friendliest for 2024.  It is a place of creativity, culture and warmth, and is surrounded by stunning Scottish countryside.  We hope you will take time to explore and enjoy everything the area has to offer, alongside a rich and rewarding conference experience.

We look forward to seeing you all in April 2026!

Your President
