WELCOME TO NEURODIVERSITY IN CLINICAL PRACTICE

This CPD Webinar will explore the nature of neurodiversity (include language, motor co-ordination and sensory issues) and will focus on the lived experience of neurodiverse (ND) people. Specific trans-diagnostic issues will be covered, such as, gender and identity, coping with emotions, and how cognitive features can be assets or challenges depending upon the context. The session will address relevant areas for clinical practice and will consider the implications of a diagnostic vs formulation approach.

This webinar will help delegates to incorporate an understanding of neurodiversity into clinical practice To understand the unique challenges of neurodiverse individuals and what to look out for To understand the fluid nature of neurodiversity and avoid silo thinking.
