Title
Furthering your professional qualifications in Occupational Psychology - why might you consider a Professional Doctorate
Abstract
The professional doctorate in Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck is the first in the UK accredited by the BPS to provide those who complete the doctorate with the title of Dr, chartered status, and subject to approval from the HCPC, registered status. In this session Rachel will explain the structure and design of the programme and how it differs to both a PhD and a traditional route to chartership through the BPS. Rachel will provide examples from past students to illustrate the benefits and challenges of this route, and how it could change your professional life! There will also be an open Q&A session.
