Bio
Vicki
is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Associate Professor in
Occupational and Organisational Psychology at Northumbria University. She has a
passion for understanding careers and helping individuals to thrive in work.
Her research activities centre around employability and women's careers and she
continues to conduct consultancy in selection and assessment, coaching and
wellbeing related work. Vicki teaches learning and development as part of the
MSc Occupational and Organisational Psychology at Northumbria University and
employability to support the next generation of occupational psychology
practitioners. Vicki has volunteered for the BPS for a number of years,
most recently as the DOP career lead, she is also a founding member of the
Centre for Psychology at Work.

Abstract
If
you would like to learn some practical tips and techniques to support you to
thrive in your career in occupational psychology then please attend this
session. The ideas are based on published research from interviews with
occupational psychology practitioners as part of Vicki's professional doctorate
in Occupational Psychology.
