Sexual Trauma
In this workshop we will consider the impact of sexual trauma on people who have intellectual disabilities. We will explore how taking a trauma informed approach helps us to consider sexual trauma and how this could be communicated through behaviours that challenge and other forms of psychological distress. We will also explore how such communications can impact on staff teams and psychologists providing individual work.
