Dr. Armin Badre completed medical school at the University of Alberta in 2012 and orthopaedic surgery residency there in 2017. He then pursued subspecialty fellowship training at the Roth McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre (HULC), a world-renowned center for complex elbow, hand, and wrist reconstruction and trauma. During his fellowship, he also completed a Master of Science in Surgery focused on elbow biomechanics under Drs. Graham King and Jim Johnson.
Since 2019, Dr. Badre has practiced at the Western Hand & Upper Limb Facility (WULF) at Sturgeon Hospital, where his clinical work encompasses all aspects of elbow, hand, and wrist surgery including arthroscopy, arthroplasty, and upper extremity trauma.
As an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Alberta, he is actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. As research lead at WULF, Dr. Badre is dedicated to advancing upper extremity knowledge through high-quality clinical and biomechanical studies. He has published in leading journals and presented his work at numerous national and international conferences.
