I lead the Languages Policy Team, in the Department for Education (DfE). I am a career civil servant and have spent most of my time working in DfE, working in many different policy areas.

I have worked extensively on curriculum policy, covering several specific curriculum subjects in addition to overall curriculum strategy. I am delighted to be working on languages policy at such an exciting and pivotal time.
