Sohelie is an experienced Modern Foreign Languages teacher specialising in French and Italian, with over a decade of experience teaching in some of London’s most diverse and dynamic secondary schools. Having previously served as Head of Languages for five years, she now works as a Language Consultant for Discover the World Education, a school travel company. In this role, she draws on her classroom expertise to develop and deliver high-quality, free teaching resources and professional development for language teachers worldwide.

A passionate linguist, Sohelie speaks several languages, including Bengali, Hindi and Urdu, alongside French, Italian and English. She is a regular speaker at national and international conferences and has presented for organisations such as the Association for Language Learning, Practical Pedagogies, Linguascope, BSME (British Schools in the Middle East), MLTAT (Modern Languages Teachers Association of Tasmania), the World Language Teacher Summit, the World Language Conference in Switzerland, and the International School of Monaco.
