GOOD PRACTICE GUIDANCE AND TRAUMA IN MATERNITY SETTINGS


There is now significant recognition of the potential for traumatising or retraumatising experiences within maternity journeys. Positively, there has been progress in addressing this and momentum in the field is evident. This webinar presents the latest Good Practice Guidance on trauma informed care across maternity and neonatal settings, with a special focus on implementation and good practice examples.

As services across the country continue to evolve, and Maternal Mental Health Services multiply, this webinar provides some helpful insights and food for thought, shining the light on maternity and neonatal care.

Expert by experience accounts and case examples will be shared and there will be opportunity for questions and reflective discussions. This webinar is aimed at professionals working across these settings, including midwives, obstetricians, community perinatal mental health teams, psychological practitioners, managers and commissioners.
