The Student Committee is organising the first BPS International Psychology Student Conference. This is an opportunity for psychology students all across the world to connect. We welcome psychology students from every country to join us but also postgraduate students, young professionals or those interested in pursuing psychology as a career. We strongly believe that our speakers' pannel will offer you valuable insight and contribute towards your Continuing Professional Development. To offer our participants the chance to network in a safe and professional environment we will facilitate Social-Breakout Rooms.
The United Kingdom is now out of the European Union however we are determined to keep our relationships with the European Federation of Psychology Students' Associations and other international organisations, strong and collaborative. The ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic made travelling and attending international events impossible, however, we are determined to unite psychology students in an environment that is promoting our common passion and interest. The theme for the 1st International Psychology Student Conference is Equality and Inclusion, Connections in an International Context.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Participants will have the opportunity to hear from well-established professionals who will talk about their expertise and international experience and explore their take on what it means to "connect" and promote equality and inclusion. The topics discussed will focus on the importance of language, neurodiversity, LGBTQ+, bullying, and education's role towards a positive impact.
