Chair of BPS Student Committee
Eduard Margarit is currently studying Psychology and Counselling at Abertay University and working as an Honorary Psychologist for NHS. He has a keen interest in the psychology of sexual orientation, neuropsychology and abnormal psychology and done research in Eyewitness Memory under the supervision of Dr Julie Gawrylowicz.
He previously graduated from London Metropolitan with a BA in Fashion Marketing and Business Management. However, four years after his graduation, Eduard decided to return to his humanistic interest and study psychology.
As Chair of the Student Committee, Eduard took part in the Member Network Review and the Membership Grades Review. He also sits on the BPS Standing Conference Committee and is Member Organisation President of the EFPSA (European Federation of Psychology Students Associations) where his duties involve representing the psychology undergraduate students in the U.K.
For his opening presentation, Eduard will talk about the BPS from a student perspective and discuss what it means to be a psychology student under the current climate and in an international context.
