The annual Veterinary Education Symposium, hosted in turn by the member institutions of the UK Veterinary Schools Council, is now firmly established as the go-to conference for advancing veterinary education. With an abundance of opportunity to learn, share, connect, and relax amongst colleagues and peers, the symposium is a welcoming and collaborative event for anyone involved in teaching or supporting learners in veterinary health care.
Staying true to the founding principles of community and scholarship whilst building upon the progressive and innovative work that has gone before to grow the symposium, VetEd 2026 promises to be an event not to miss.
As a vet school which is built on collaboration and partnership, we benefit from having access to the resources and facilities and both Harper Adams University and Keele University, which we will utilise to deliver a conference with a truly unique feel.
Abstract submissions are open until Wednesday 25 February. Check back for updates, including the announcement of keynote speakers, the launch of the VetEd Fringe Festival and the full programme.
