Students of psychology are the future of our science, of our Society. We are keen to ensure they have a voice in shaping the future landscape of the BPS and Psychology. Our magazine The Psychologist already plays a key role in nurturing ‘Voices In Psychology’, and now we would like to find one person to play a key role in opening our Conference 2020.   Its focus is on Psychology of the Future – future generations, future workforce and future research.

So, imagine the year is 2040. You are still working in Psychology, but it has changed. How?

If you are an undergraduate or postgraduate student of psychology, we would like you to address this question in up to 500 words.

One ‘voice’ will be asked to present their vision at the opening of the Conference 2020. And that’s not all: the winner will receive

  • Three years’ membership
  • Free registration at BPS2020
  • Free conference dinner place
  • £500

The winning entry will also be published in The Psychologist. The shortlisted entries will also be published in a special issue of PsychTalk.

Competition deadline: 30 April 2020
