Dr Leighanne Higgins 

Dr Leighanne Higgins is a Senior Lecturer at Lancaster University. She began studying marketplace accessibility for consumers with disabilities since 2016. She also researcher care and consumption with particular focus on parent-carers to children with life-limiting conditions. Leighanne has a strong publication record within leading marketing and business journals such as The Journal of Consumer Research, Annals of Tourism Research, Marketing Theory, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research and Journal of Marketing Management. She is Chair of the Academy of Marketing's Special Interest Group on Marketplace Access. 




Dr Killian O’Leary  

Dr Killian O'Leary is an interpretive consumer researcher at Lancaster University. His research focuses on understanding the intersection of consumption, markets and culture. To date his work has focused on diverse contexts such as online poker, anonymous social networking apps, disability and consumption and care and consumption. He has been working on marketplace accessibility for consumers with disabilities since 2019. He has published in leading marketing journals such as: Marketing Theory, European Journal of Marketing and Consumption, Markets and Culture.
