James Manford

Owner and Managing Director of Successful Events, an award winning global venue finding and full service event management company based in Yorkshire, celebrating 10 years in business. Our team manage and deliver a number of high profile large scale events from Medical, Automotive and IT Industry Sectors, whether it be a boardroom for 10 in London, an incentive group for 30 in Tokyo or a conference for 1,000 people in Madrid, our ethos is to provide excellent customer service, a tailored approach and ensure all of our events run seamlessly from start to finish. We take great pride in the partnerships we have built up over the years with a number of hotel groups, independent venues and universities.

James, an ex hotelier, has worked in hospitality and events for nearly 25 years, starting his career at Leeds United FC and then moving into a mixture of different senior sales roles spanning 15 years. Keen to be involved and help shape the future of the events industry I recently spent 4 years on the board of the AIEA. The team regularly attends industry forums and exhibitions to stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technology and sustainability practices in an ever changing climate.
