We are inviting submissions for a new video techniques
section to be incorporated into the scientific programme in Brighton 2025. This
will replace a free papers session within the meeting with the aim of providing
a platform for delegates to present novel surgical or therapy techniques they
employ in their clinical practice. The technique presented does not need to be
revolutionary but should be unique in some way and backed with clinical results
that can be presented alongside a video submission outlining the technique.
Where appropriate it is intended that there will be scope to use this forum as
a springboard to help develop and disseminate your technique further through
research funding and support from BESS.
If you submit under this section of the abstract
submission system, your proposal will be reviewed by members of the Research
Committee and Education Committee. If selected, we will request a
7-minute narrated video that incorporates the technique and data to report the
early results. There will then be some time for questions and
discussion.
