Will I receive email confirmation of my abstract submission?
Your confirmation of submitting your abstract will be sent to you via email. If you need a copy of this for your records, you should print or save this.

When will posters be displayed?
Please refer to the poster list for details of the posters that will be displayed per day.

I have had a flash presentation accepted, where will my digital poster be displayed and can I display a physical poster?
Flash Presentation will have a supporting digital poster displayed on the app. A physical poster will not be displayed at this year's Symposium.

Are papers published in conference proceedings?
The accepted abstracts are published in the Symposium Abstract book which will be available on the app and website, we currently do not formally publish full papers.

Will there be late breaking submissions?
There are no current plans to consider late breaking submissions.



Registrations

What does my registration include?
Your registration includes access to all of the academic conference sessions, conference programme, App, refreshments including lunch. 

Do I need to pay to attend?
Yes, all delegates, including those presenting an oral, flash or a poster have to pay to attend the Symposium.

How do I join BIMDG?

ABPI Code of Practice

We will have some Non-HCP and Non-ORDMs (collectively referred to as 'Public' attendees) attending the Symposium, potentially up to 10% of all the delegates. 

The Committee is committed to having our Symposium accessible to all those working and supporting our industry, while ensuring that all commercial sponsors can still abide by the ABPI Code of Practice. Public attendees will therefore have access to all parts of the programme and all areas of the Symposium, with the following exceptions:

  • Public attendees will not have access to the main commercial exhibition space in Oriel and Oriel Lobby. There will be communal catering facilities for all in a non-restricted area
  • Public attendees will not have access to the Pre-Meeting

Public attendees will be present throughout other areas of the Symposium and may wish to engage with exhibitors in unrestricted spaces. We kindly ask all exhibitors and representatives to remain mindful of this.

Attendees will be identifiable by their name badges and lanyard colours. Public attendees and Pharmaceutical Representatives must not engage in discussions relating to pharmaceutical products.
