Title: Menopause, HRT and Breast Cancer
With most women experiencing menopause during their working lives, this presentation explores its impact on confidence, wellbeing and workplace performance. It will cover the diagnosis and management of menopause, including the latest evidence surrounding hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
The session will also examine the relationship between menopause and breast cancer, including treatment-induced menopause, common misconceptions about breast cancer risk, and current guidance on managing menopausal symptoms in women with a history of breast cancer.
Designed for all attendees, this talk aims to empower women to better understand and manage their own menopause, support the women in their families, friendships and workplaces, and enhance the care they provide to patients. Attendees will leave with practical, evidence-based knowledge of lifestyle, hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options, equipping them with the confidence to support themselves and others through menopause.
