Abstract Categories:
BSBR invited abstracts for presentation in the following categories:
-These incorporate research, service/quality improvement, and audit.
-Submissions should contain new findings supported by data; final data must have been collected at the time of abstract submission. Statements such as “results will be presented” are not acceptable.
-Scientific abstracts are published in Breast Cancer Research and should therefore include sufficient information to allow readers to understand the rationale, methodology, key findings, and conclusions.
-These are based on educational content, learning opportunities, or pictorial reviews.
-As these abstracts do not usually contain new findings, they are not published.
-If the educational work relates to an empirical study, however, it may be more appropriate to submit it as a Scientific abstract, provided it meets the criteria for that category.
