Jonathan James
Jonathan James is consultant radiologist and has worked at the Nottingham Breast Institute for the last 25 years. He is also the Director of Education and Training and is responsible for the post-graduate education programmes for both radiographers and radiologists in breast imaging and advanced practice. He is also involved in clinically based research, with his most significant work focusing on Contrast Enhanced Mammography (CEM), reader performance assessment in breast screening and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Title: Lessons learned from 10 years of CEM in breast clinic
Contrast Enhanced Mammography (CEM) has been used in Nottingham since 2013, primarily as a staging tool in the ‘One-Stop’ breast clinic. How CEM is used to speed up the diagnostic pathway in this setting will be described and illustrated with examples. The routine use of CEM has also been expanded over the last decade to include the monitoring of response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy, assessing screening programme recalls and an alternative to MRI guided biopsy and these emerging roles for CEM will also be discussed.
