Title: Restorative Dentistry, the final piece in the Cleft MDT jigsaw?

As core members of the Cleft MDT, a consultant in Restorative Dentistry is involved with delivering treatment for cleft patients throughout most of their life. This can range from advice and minimally invasive interventions to extensive rehabilitations, in conjunction with other MDT colleagues. Working closely with patients, specialist colleagues and General Dental Practitioners is key to successful outcomes.

Professor Ashley will explain the scope of Restorative Dentistry, describe the challenges faced when managing both our young and our adult returner cleft patients, and outline some treatment approaches required.
