BASES Conference Grants
The BASES Conference Grants aim to assist researchers to present free communications at the BASES Conference. The value of the grant is the price of one BASES member virtual attendance delegate fee for the 2022 BASES Annual Conference, thus covering the cost of conference registration for all three days of this year’s virtual conference. Awards
BASES Conference Awards seek to reward outstanding contributions to sport and exercise sciences by BASES members. Awards are presented for research (free communication presentation and poster presentation) in student and non-student categories.
All abstracts are automatically considered for any relevant awards and authors do not need to apply to be considered for an award.

£500 cash prize for the best free communication presentation on sport and exercise science made by a BASES professional or overseas member.
- Cranlea Poster Presentation Award A Polar Heart Rate Monitor for the best poster presentation made by a BASES professional or overseas member.
- Routledge Recently Qualified Researcher Free Communication Presentation Award
£500 (half cash/half book tokens) to the best free communication presentation given by a recently qualified researcher (BASES member).
