SPEAKERS


Shameema Yousuf

Shameema has a diverse background as a former investment banker/fund manager, former elite international athlete, and psychologist. She operates a practice in UK and Zimbabwe having trained in the USA. She is consultant sport psychologist for Zimbabwean Olympic Committee, an Elite Performance Coach at Valor Performance, and provides performance and mental health counselling support to athletic, clinical and corporate programs internationally. She practices through a cultural pluralistic lens, with her work extending to advocacy and diversity and inclusion initiatives transnationally. She has published work in peer review journals and edited books, and has been a conference presenter. Shameema was contributing author to ISSP (International Society of Sport Psychology) ethics code and has contributed to AASP’s (Association for Applied Sport Psychology) diversity and inclusion resources and the ethics code. As a leader, Shameema serves on several international sport association committees driving inclusive policies and practices, and is a mentor/supervisor for AASP and BASES early career practitioners. In 2020, Shameema was recognised on the Muslim Women in Sport Powerlist for her contribution to sport. Shameema is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant ® of AASP, Registered Counsellor of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, Registered Sport and Exercise Psychologist on Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), APA, and BASES Member


Kalpita Kunde

Kalpita is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with 20+ years experience of working in mainstream Adult Mental Health in various NHS Trusts specialising in psychological therapies (DBT, CAT, MBSR, CFT, SCM), supervision and teaching and training on complex PTSD, trauma, suicide prevention/ interventions, self-harm, personality disorders, and serious mental illnesses and conditions.

Kalpita is an ILM level 5 NHS Leadership Academy certified coach and mentor, and currently leads a Trustwide specialist employee psychological wellbeing service in a large NHS MH Foundation Trust.

Kalpita is very active in EDI race and equality initiatives to represent and assist with wider agendas for BAME communities, during Co-Vid and beyond for the North East of England region. Kalpita is also the current England Chair for the BPS Division of Clinical Psychology.


Stacy Moore

Stacy is a highly experienced Chartered Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the BPS and Director of Inner Circles Educational Psychology. After 15 years of supporting child and adult wellbeing through assessment, training, consultation and supervision, Stacy founded The Nesting Coach to provide psychoeducation, coaching and reflective space for women during ‘matrescence’ (the evolving transition into motherhood).

Through creative collaborations with brands such as Mamas & Papas and via online social media platforms, Stacy provides resources and a supportive community for professional mothers throughout their motherhood journeys. Stacy has contributed to academic publications on the topic of group supervision (Staff Sharing).

Stacy enjoys sharing her knowledge of psychology with a wide range of communities. She has featured in the press as a psychologist expert for BBC News, The Daily Telegraph and The Evening Standard.

Stacy is in the final stages of completing her professional doctoral thesis at UCL.
