She is a Reader in the Department of Psychology at Edge Hill University. Her research focuses on the ways in which online settings can promote social inclusion and well-being. Specifically, she researches social identities and stereotypes in digital gaming; social affordances in online settings and how online behaviours are related to perceptions and processing.
