DIVISION OF FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGY
ANNUAL CONFERENCE
TUESDAY 15 - WEDNESDAY 16 JUNE 2021 & TUESDAY 9 - WEDNESDAY 10 NOVEMBER 2021
VIRTUAL CONFERENCE
SOCIAL EVENT
Tuesday 9th November 5.45pm - 6.45pm
Dr Cerys Miles (@the_yogi_psych on Instagram) will be running a brief breathing practice, encouraging us to bring attention to our breathing (something we all do 25,000 times a day!), start to identify unhealthy patterns that are common amongst people with busy and ’stressful’ lives, and invite a sense of calm (both mentally and physically) through simple changes. As a chartered psychologist and yoga teacher, with specialist training in yoga therapy for PTSD, Cerys uses pranayama (breathing) practices as a tool to connect the body and mind, both personally and with the people she works with.
Followed by randomly allocated breakout rooms which will provide the opportunity for networking/reflections on the day – and a chance to just meet with others!
Access details will be sent to all registered delegates along with Conference Joining instructions which will be sent a couple of days before the event.
