Darren is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Welsh Judo Association. He has coached a variety of Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth medalists over the last four Olympic cycles. Passionate about performance sport, Darren is currently in the final stages of his Phd, researching leadership and coaching in elite sport as well as being author of the book ‘Skill Acquisition in Judo, from Theory to Practice’, which is due to published by Routledge in early 2022.
