Dr. Shoaib Javaid is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. He obtained his MBBS from Islamabad Medical and Dental College, Pakistan, and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Mayo Hospital, Lahore, one of Pakistan's premier teaching and tertiary care institutions.

Driven by a passion for upper limb surgery, Dr. Javaid pursued advanced fellowship training in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the Hand and Upper Limb Surgery Centre, Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Lahore. He further refined his expertise through a prestigious Swiss Shoulder Fellowship in Switzerland, gaining international experience in advanced shoulder and elbow reconstruction, arthroscopy, and contemporary management of complex upper limb disorders.

Dr. Javaid is among the few fellowship-trained shoulder and elbow surgeons in Pakistan. Recognizing the limited awareness and development of elbow surgery as a subspecialty within the country, he has actively worked to advance education and training in this field. He has organized and led multiple workshops, instructional courses, and scientific meetings focused on elbow surgery, contributing to the dissemination of modern surgical techniques and evidence-based practice among orthopaedic surgeons.

In recognition of his professional potential and commitment to advancing orthopaedic care, Dr. Javaid was awarded the Global Education Network (GEN) Scholarship in 2025 and attended the GEN Annual Meeting in Miami. He currently serves on the Membership Committee of the Global Education Network (GEN), where he contributes to fostering international engagement and professional development within the orthopaedic community.

Dr. Javaid remains dedicated to expanding access to specialized shoulder and elbow care in Pakistan while promoting education, mentorship, and global collaboration in upper limb surgery.
