Carolyn Tye

I am currently an Assistant manager in a Children’s Home in Bristol. I have worked alongside young unaccompanied minors for the past three years, and prior to this I have worked with young people experiencing exploitation in both the care sector and mental health services for close to 25 years.

I am passionate about supporting young people to hope and aspire for a better future for themselves, free from fear and with the skills to live full and happy lives.

I seek to understand the experiences of the young people I support to better inform my practice and aim to interrupt and disrupt the exploitation networks that seek to target them and keep them safe from harm.
