DR ELLIOT COHEN

Dr Elliot Cohen is a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. He lectures in Social and Interdisciplinary Psychology at Leeds Beckett University, where he also supervises Transpersonal-based PhD projects (https://www.leedsbeckett.ac.uk/staff/dr-elliot-cohen/).  

He is the current Secretary of the BPS Transpersonal Psychology Section and the former Director of the Manchester Academy for Transpersonal Studies. 

He is a longstanding, active member of the Discourse Unit - 'a trans-institutional collaborative centre which supports a variety of qualitative and theoretical research projects contributing to the development of radical theory and practice.' (https://discourseunit.com/)

His research critically addresses the psychologisation of Eastern Wisdom Traditions (specifically Hinduism, Buddhism and Daoism) and reconsiders Transpersonal Psychology as a Critical/Radical Approach to Psychology. DR JACK HUNTER

Dr. Jack Hunter is an anthropologist exploring the borderlands of consciousness, religion, ecology and the paranormal. He is an Honorary Research Fellow with the Alister Hardy Religious Experience Research Centre, and a tutor with the Sophia Centre for the Study of Cosmology in Culture, University of Wales Trinity Saint David, where he teaches on the MA in Ecology and Spirituality and the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology. He is a Research Fellow with the Parapsychology Foundation. In 2010 he founded Paranthropology: Journal of Anthropological Approaches to the Paranormal. He is the author of Spirits, Gods and Magic (2020) and Manifesting Spirits (2020), and is the editor of Greening the Paranormal (2019), Damned Facts (2016) and Talking with the Spirits (2014).

DR DWIGHT TURNER

Dr Dwight Turner is Senior Lecturer within the School of Applied Social Sciences at the University of Brighton, lecturing on their PG Dip and MSc courses in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a PhD Supervisor at their Doctoral College, a psychotherapist and supervisor in private practice.  His latest book Intersections of Privilege and Otherness in Counselling and Psychotherapy was released in February 2021 and is published by Routledge.
