Deborah Higgs

Deborah Higgs has been a Consultant Shoulder & Elbow Surgeon at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, since 2010. She has a specialist interest in complex revision arthroplasty of the Elbow & Shoulder with a tertiary referral practice that reflects this.  She lectures and teaches on the Elbow & Shoulder and is actively involved in clinical research with numerous publications and has co-authored several book chapters.

A previous member of the BESS Education Committee, she is the current BESS Instructional Course Sub-Committee Elbow Surgeon Member, and was a BESS Copeland Fellow in 2024.
