Katy Clay

Katy Clay studied Physiotherapy at the University of Liverpool and subsequently obtained an MSc in Science of Sports injury from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Practice from the University of Liverpool.

She works within the Liverpool Upper Limb Unit having a dual role working as both an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in Trauma Management and Upper Limb; treating patients with a wide variety of upper limb problems both within the Physiotherapy Department and Fracture Clinic.

She is an active researcher and honorary lecturer at the University of Liverpool and is  passionate about empowering colleagues to work with their patients to get the best possible outcomes following upper limb trauma to the shoulder and elbow.
