Student/ECR Events

During the BPOS conference (Thursday 19th - Friday 20th March 2026), we are going to be organising some (mainly informal) opportunities for our student membership and early career researchers to meet and network with others at a similar career stage. We will also provide an opportunity for mentorship from experienced members of the BPOS committee. The following events are proposed and will be facilitated by Lori Wright (PhD student and BPOS events coordinator):

Thursday 19th March
An informal gathering during the coffee break on the first morning (11-11.30am, meeting place to be confirmed)

An informal gathering before dinner (7-7.30pm, meeting place to be confirmed)

Friday 20th March
Mentorship lunch (1-1.30pm, meeting place to be confirmed)
