Keynote Speakers
Part 1
Title: The Climate Emergency and Counselling Psychology: Is It Only About Adaptation Now?
Part 2
Title: Counselling Psychology and the climate emergency: Question Time
This panel, located immediately after Prof. Uzzell’s keynote speech, will allow the conference a chance to engage more personally with the climate emergency and our responses to it - professionally and as citizens. Following a Question Time format, audience members will be asked to raise questions for the panel to respond to in an effort to consider what the specific issues are for counselling psychology. As well as Professor Uzzell, the panelists include Maya Gimalova (doctoral researcher), Dr Alison Greenwood (Counselling Psychologist and Director of the Charity ‘Dose of Nature’) and Dr Patrick Kennedy-Williams a clinical psychologist and co-director of Climate Psychologists. Prof. Martin Milton will be in the Chair.
