Workshop: AMR in Aquaculture

At the next EAPF congress, it is proposed to hold a workshop on AMR in aquaculture. You are cordially invited to submit abstracts on the topic of antibiotic resistance in aquaculture, covering methodological aspects, field studies and other topics related to AMR in aquaculture.

As an introduction to the WS, we propose to give provide  feedback on the results to date of transnational  efforts to define epidemiological cut-off values (ECV or ECOFF) for Vibrio and a range  other aquatic bacterial species, following the workshop that was held at the EAFP conference in Porto in 2019. After this a round table is planned where these and other important issues, particularly regarding development of surveillance programmes for AMR in aquaculture, can be discussed.
