Keele University
Our primary base will be Keele University’s 600-acre campus in Staffordshire, with its cosmopolitan community surrounded by lakes and woodland. The onsite Courtyard by Marriott hotel is just a short walk from the Vet School.
Keele has been recognised as a leader in sustainability in higher education through several awards and accreditations, including the Global Sustainability Institution of the Year at the 2021 International Green Gown Awards. The campus boasts a Low Carbon Energy Generation Park, supplying up to 50% of its electricity from renewable sources.
Keele University is easily accessible via all routes of transport, it is situated in the Staffordshire countryside, right by the bustling town of Newcastle-under-Lyme, and close to Stoke-on-Trent. Manchester and Birmingham are under an hour away.
Harper Adams University
Our pre-conference day on Wednesday the 8th of July will take place at Harper Adams University’s beautiful rural campus, set in the Shropshire countryside, 45-minutes from Keele.
Steeped in heritage and recognised as the UK’s specialist university for food production, animal health and living environments, delegates will be able to enjoy this unique educational setting whilst exploring our theme of ‘Thriving through Collaboration’ at the Veterinary Educational Centre. The VEC has been designed to foster interprofessionalism, with Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Nursing, and Veterinary Physiotherapy programmes co-located in the building.
