virtual Participation

All sessions on the programme will be available to watch on Zoom for virtual participants. No sessions are being recorded apart from the Keynotes.

Rooms have been assigned for the virtual sessions so that in-person participants can go and watch then if they want. The student helpers will start these sessions. If the in-person audience wants to ask a question they will need to use their own device - i.e. there will not be the facility for them to ask a question in the room and it be heard by the online presenter.

To join any session, you need to be logged into the platform. Once you are logged in, to enter the ZOOM, you need to click the JOIN ROOM button (with the video camera icon).

Once in this meeting participants will be able to select the breakout room that corresponds with the session they wish to attend. The breakout rooms will be named for the physical room they represent, for example, Room 201, Room 218, Room 227 and so on. Please refer to the program to determine which session you should join. Please note that finding the correct breakout room may take a few minutes so please join a few minutes before the session starts. Virtual participants will have permission to join, leave, and re-join the breakout rooms.
