This workshop aims to introduce and facilitate the discussion about enhancing inclusivity through teaching and learning in the realm of sport and exercise science.
Attendees will learn about the principles of inclusive curricula and its implications for sport and exercise scientists. The facilitators will share their experiences of success measures, challenges and sustainability of this work.
We hope the attendees will leave more confident about including the students in designing and delivering a more inclusive curricula, and with some practical tools on how to do it.
Workshop 2: Climate change and sustainability: Shaping practice across the Sport and Exercise Science (SES) sector

This workshop aims to introduce the CCAT and offer opportunity to support ongoing work in the areas of climate change and sustainability within SES.
Within the workshop we will also share insight into the development of guiding pillars and principles to support the implementation of climate change and sustainability education into the SES curriculum.
We aim to share evidence-based research and hope discussions around this theme will support attendees in their own teaching, research and applied practice.

This introduction course will be divided into two different parts: Theoretical background (the theory and technology behind (f)NIRS; (f)NIRS applications in the field of sport and exercise science; applicable experimental setup and analysis methods) and Practical hands-on session (put the acquired theoretical knowledge into practice and perform different (f)NIRS experiments from set-up to simple data analysis).
